THERE will be a two-day free Community Emergency Response Seminar from January 20 to 21 here in Cagayan de Oro City. It will be held at COC-Phinma Auditorium and various topics will be discussed. Forensic pathology expert Dr. Cecilia Lim will discuss Basic ID and Preservation of Dead Bodies in Mass Disaster. A DNA expert from UP Diliman, Dr. Cora Ungria will discuss the Importance of DNA in Mass Disaster.
Meanwhile, Dr. Matthew Robert Baquiano will talk on Health Emergency and Disaster Preparedness. Dr. Stephen Cutler, a retired FBI agent, will discuss Disaster Management and Supt. Fennimore Jaudian will talk on Fire Suppression and Disaster Operations. It is reiterated that registration for the two-day seminar is free. The seminar is being organized by the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines led by its president Dr. Manuel Jaudian. MF
